Fundraiser Update May 2018

April was another hyperinflationary month of terrible challenges but great showings of support. New supporters have come to our aid when we most need it, and for that I'm very grateful, as for the many faithful friends that care for us and help us every month, giving us much needed reassurance in times of uncertainty. 

A huge THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart goes this month to Suzanne, Andrea, Dario, Dawn, Lexy, Stephen, Donna, Kate, Karen, Dinithi, Tracey, Bobbi, and Claudia, as well to the many kind friends that opt to remain anonymous, to Romana, Dennis, Laurie and Magda to which my gratitude will never ever end, and last but not least to all the wonderful twitter friends that share their messages of love and hope with us, letting us know we are never alone. 

As a side note, sadly this will be one of the last months of this fundraiser that has been of such importance to us, as Youcaring will cease operations this July. I'm already looking for alternatives to keep getting the vital support all of you so kindly provide us, so I'll inform you in a future update when the date draws closer. But in the meantime, please keep helping us reach our goal here. Each new month we can keep taking care of our dear cats despite the ever worsening collapse in Venezuela is a triumph of kindness and generosity over the most adverse of circumstances, and a gift of life and hope all of you never fail to give us.
